Party Tip #2 - Themed Food

I am a sucker for a party with a theme...and to me this means the theme carries on through all aspects of the party...even the food. This could be as simple as whether the party is finger food or sit down meal. At a childs party it may be something as simple as cutting the fairy bread with a cookie cutter to suit the theme, there are plenty of different cookie cutters out there and more than likely one to suit your theme. Another option is to perhaps make chocolates in the theme or have themed cupcake toppers. Don't forget Pixiewood Creations does have chocolate mould hire for people that live locally (I also have a lot of cookie cutters that although not an official hire item I am sure we could come to some sort of arrangement). My best friend when I am planning parties is the internet...no need to re-invent the wheel for everything...do a search for your theme and you are bound to find many ideas from invites, food, games etc.

Happy Party Planning and keep an eye out for the next tip

PartyTip #1 - Individual IceCream Serves

If planning on serving ice-cream with dessert...pre-scoop the ice-cream into cupcake liners (I think the silicone ones would be bestbut the normal ones would work too) and re-freeze. This way the ice-cream is ready to go in individual portions...you can even have the sprinkles already on them. Have seen this idea on a few party pages and thought it was definately worth sharing...a much more affordable option than buying individual icecreams for guests and no worries of messing scooping while everyone is watching. I would probably suggest either wrapping tray full of ice-creams in glad wrap or putting them inside a freezer safe container to avoid ice crystals forming on top of ice-cream. Enjoy!

Keep an eye out for more future tips.
